This involved pressing a start button, hitting three wooden barriers in a clockwise manner, and finally pressing the end button.
Upon completing the test, the volunteers watched videos online regarding the same movement executed by both beginners and professionals.
Before watching the video, part of the group was told the skill level they saw while the other wasn’t told. The two groups watched the test twice.
Both groups were fast as they watched the test for the second time. However, the group that understood whether or not they were learning from seasoned players scored better results.
This is attributed to the fact knowing that you’re learning from a seasoned player triggers your brain to capture errors and find ways of improving them.

One of the best golf tips we’ve ever heard (outside of having a proper golf swing) is staying in shape. This is more about core flexibility and strength.
As a golfer, you need to pay attention to pay close to the aforementioned factors to avoid overusing your arms, wrists and straining your lower back.
Further, you’ll need to enhance flexibility on your feet, hips, ankles, and thoracic spine to boost your rotational motion range. Here are some exercises you can try to get the ultimate swing.
Standing Wood Chop
The standing wood chop exercise combined the movement of your back, hips, and shoulders while enhancing flexibility and strength. You’ll need a cable system similar to a resistance band to execute hack this exercise. Still, you can use a free weight or medicine ball. To do the standing wood chop:
- Put the resistance band below your left foot
- Bend your knees slightly and drag the band up above to your right.
- Repeat between 8 to 12 times before resting for 30 seconds
- Change sides and repeat between 1 and 3 time
Lateral lunges enhance the motion range, power, and strength of your hips. To execute this exercise:
- Take a big step to your left and switch your weight on that side. Maintain a perfect posture while at it.
- Ensure that your left leg is bent and the right leg is drawn out to the right
- Ensure your toes are pointing straight ahead
- Repeat between 8 and 10 times before resting for 30 seconds. Alternate the legs and repeat between 1 and 3 times.
Glute activation lunges
You can use glute activation lunges to enhance mobility around your hips for more strength and a powerful swing.
- With your hands on your hips and your feet together, take a huge step forward.
- Assume a 90-degree angle with your front leg or bend it until the thigh is parallel to the ground
- Ensure your back leg is straight and rigid
- Step back and assume a standing position. Repeat between 8 and 12 times
- Switch legs and repeat the exercise between 1 and 3 times

Golf Tips: How to Play Golf
In golf, players play a specific number of holes in a particular order. 18 or 9 holes played in a particular order in which the golf course design controls usually make up a game.
If the golf course has nine holes, players should complete two rounds to make up a normal game. The beginning of each hole is the tee box.
A golfer places the ball on a tee, usually hitting the ball with the driver into the fairway.
The object of the game is to hit the ball (a stroke) into the cup (a hole in the ground) on each green (very shortly mowed grass) in as few strokes as possible – the lowest score wins.
Every hole is a specific number of strokes that golfers should ensure that their balls get inside. This is referred to as par.
A player will get a birdie if their balls get inside the hole in less than the par. When they take an extra shot before the par, the act is referred to as a bogey. Many holes come with a par of between 3 and 5.
Once players are on the green, they attempt to putt the ball inside the hole. Putting is like any ordinary swing. The only difference is; it’s not as hard. What’s more, putting doesn’t focus on driving the ball up in the air. After each player has to putt their ball in the hole, they move to the subsequent hole.

Match play involves two golf teams or golfers playing holes in turns. The golfer with low strokes wins that hole. If there’s a tie, the hole gets drawn. The winner here is the player with the greatest number of holes.

Stretching is not only good for your back, but it will also enhance your swinging motion. Begin with 15 minute slow stretches from the head to toe. Remember, you’ll be using your entire body in playing golf. Stretching will give your swings more power.
This is why you should also stretch your torso, back, arms, and neck. Remember, your legs should remain firmly on the ground during the stretching process.
Don’t be Idle
Avoid staying idle after your warm-up session. If the game is yet to start, you may want to execute some more swing exercises.
